With over 25 years of professional services and consulting achievements, Rebecca’s illustrious career spans across multiple economies in the Asia Pacific region. Having led the operations of KPMG China Tax as their Chief Operating Officer for 10 years, Rebecca is known for providing practical solutions in formulating sustainable policies and operating procedures while promoting a management culture based on integrity. Her tenure as COO in China with a secondment to Australia coupled with her corporate consulting experiences in Hong Kong and Malaysia has gained her an in-depth appreciation of diversity, equity and inclusion. It has also given her a comprehensive insight of their economic and regulatory landscapes enabling an effective delivery of sustainable management strategies.
As an integral part of the management team, she has first-hand experience in driving good corporate governance, aligning corporate values, purpose-driven vision to day-to-day business strategy and operations. In addition, embracing green environmental practices such as promoting e-solutions while reducing paper print and supporting corporate social responsibility initiatives. She was instrumental in championing firm-wide efficiency and effectiveness transformational projects involving change management and paradigm shifting to deliver success, both of which are critically needed in steering ESG solutioning today.
Since then, Rebecca is committed to driving sustainable practices, enhancing productivity both for businesses and individuals. Being an accredited facilitator for the Personal Efficiency Programme PEP®, she has conducted various efficiency, leadership and management workshops across the region. Rebecca has also delivered sessions on leading and managing sustainably, advocating the importance of value-based solutions. Among her other ESG related experiences is her accomplishments in rending assistance on numerous aspects of ESG reporting in Malaysia.
Rebecca is a qualified CA and a member of MIA, CPA Australia and NAWEM. She holds a Master of Taxation from the University of New South Wales and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Adelaide, Australia where she also mentors.
